The Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), in collaboration with its partners, is pleased to invite you for the inaugural Future of Energy Conference (FEC), which will assemble key stakeholders from governments, multilateral institutions, the business community, academia, development agencies, and civil societies across Africa.
The FEC, designed to replace ACEP’s annual Africa Oil Governance Summit (AOGS), is dedicated to critically exploring the energy transition within the African context.
The urgency surrounding the global energy transition and Africa’s abundant natural resources underscores the need for a continent-wide dialogue. Through expert deliberations and collaborations, we aim to harness the potential of this transition to forge a sustainable, innovative, and resilient future for Africa. The Conference also seeks to engender the commitments of African leaders to foster the optimal utilization of the continent’s energy resources to drive economic prosperity, enhance energy security, and champion climate action.
