Explore key outcomes from the Future of Energy Conference (FEC) 2024, held from 26th to 28th August 2024 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Hosted by the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), FEC2024 brought together leading voices from across Africa and beyond to discuss solutions for an inclusive and sustainable energy future under the theme Harnessing Africa’s Resource Wealth: Fuelling Innovation for Equitable Energy Access.
Co-convened with the Enzi Ijayo Africa Initiative and supported by partners including the Ford Foundation, Oxfam, Global Methane Hub, Energy Transition Fund, Global Witness, Natural Resource Governance Institute, and Tax Justice Network Africa, FEC 2024 was a resounding success. Attendees participated in insightful discussions exploring strategies for unlocking Africa’s resources’ potential to alleviate energy poverty and drive economic transformation.
