ACEP embarked on training programs in Cape Coast, Takoradi, and Sunyani to galvanize more people, particularly the youth to identify effective ways to monitor the management of extractive resources and effectively participate in resource governance. This was aimed at building the critical mass who are empowered through access to information on extractive resources and engage in public debate and strengthen accountability mechanisms. The program, termed campus rallies, equipped participants with innovative ways to effectively use available data to hold the privileged few to account in the prudent management of Ghana’s natural resources.
These programs were carried out with support from Oxfam in Ghana under the Power of Voice Partnership (PVP) – Fair4All Project.
