With the legacy of the Africa Oil Governance Summit (AOGS) shaping the way, the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) is proud to introduce the Future of Energy Conference (FEC). Building on AOGS’s foundation, FEC ushers in a new era of exploration and dialogue, focusing on Africa’s energy future. 

The Conference’s primary objective is to examine Africa’s energy needs and the range of technologies and resources that can sustainably reduce energy poverty and advance industrial growth. FEC thus creates an avenue for stakeholders within and outside the energy industry across Africa and beyond to deliberate on efficient and effective approaches to engender sustainable and inclusive development towards the energy future. The discourse will focus on the continent’s view of the energy transition, examining the potential risks and identifying solutions that drive economic beneficiation.
