As conversations around climate change, energy transition, and sustainable development continue to evolve, evidence-based dialogue and informed policy action remain essential to addressing Africa’s most pressing governance and environmental challenges.

In this edition, we examine the growing threat of methane emissions and their implications for climate change and public health. We also highlight ACEP’s engagement with students at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) on navigating Africa’s energy transition, our continued efforts to strengthen governance through media engagement, and other initiatives advancing transparency, accountability, and sustainable development across the continent.
